We’ll always ask for a photo of your ID when you sign up for an account.
We need a clear photo of a valid photo ID so that we can confirm your identity. This is important, as it prevents people from trying to impersonate you or your business.
In some cases, we may ask you to retake or resubmit your ID document because the one you initially provided is damaged, expired or if the photo is not clear.
We accept the following forms of ID;
- Passport
- Driving Licence
- European ID cards
We do not accept UK Biometric residence permits as ID.
It helps us to process your application quickly if:
- The photo is taken in a well-lit area
- The information on the document is clear
- The photo is taken from directly above your ID to avoid glare
- The photo shows all 4 corners of the ID as we can't process cropped images
- The photo is taken of the original document as we do not accept photos of IDs taken from another screen
