Payment reminders are an easy way to keep track of outstanding invoices, bills or payment requests from your suppliers. You can see what you need to pay in one place and we’ll remind you when payments are due.
Payment reminders are also reflected in your Profit & Loss and Tax Estimate reports so your accounting records are accurate on a real-time basis.
To create a payment reminder:
- Make sure you’re on the latest version of the Countingup App (found in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store)
Open the Countingup app, select the ‘Pay’ tab and tap on ‘Set payment reminder’
- Select the payee you owe the amount to, or add a new payee if needed
- Enter the payment reminder details and tap ‘Allow notifications’ to receive an alert from us the day before payments are due
- Tap ‘Done’. You can now track your payment reminder in the ‘Pay’ tab and see it reflected in your reports on the ‘Accounting’ tab
