How do I access the data of a client who already has a Countingup account?

You can refer a client who already has a Countingup account by following these steps:

1. Sign in to your Accountant Hub
2. Click ' Invite client' 
3. Fill in the client's personal and business details. Make sure to use the email address your client used to sign up to Countingup. Your client can check the email address they used in their mobile app in the ‘More’ tab within the ‘Your personal details’ section.
4. Click 'Invite client'

Your request is now pending your client’s approval. Your client is more likely to grant approval if you tell them to expect the request.

You can share these simple steps with them so they know how to approve your access to their data using their mobile app:

1. Sign in to the Countingup mobile app
2. Tap the ‘Explore’ tab
3. Under 'Your account', Tap ‘Your accountant’
4. Tap ‘Allow access’

In your Accountant Hub you can see all the pending client invitations you’ve sent by clicking on 'Client invitations sent'.
