How do I set my VAT period?

In order to set your VAT period, you must be VAT registered and have entered your VAT number within the app (see help here). Once this is done you can then enter your VAT period, and this will enable you to view how much VAT you owe or can claim back from HMRC. 

To add your VAT period, follow these steps: 

1. Login to your Countingup app
2. Navigate to the 'Explore' tab
3. Select 'Your business details'
4. Select VAT

You will then be able to set your VAT period frequency.

2. Navigate to the 'Accounting tab' to view your Accounting dashboard
3. Select VAT

You should then be able to set your VAT period frequency.
