To view how much VAT you owe or can claim back from HMRC, you first need to make sure you have set your VAT period.
Next, follow these steps:
- Log into your account
- Tap the ‘Accounting’ tab to view your Accounting dashboard
- Select ‘VAT to pay’, or ‘VAT to reclaim’
You should then be able to see the VAT you may owe or the VAT you could claim back from HMRC.
You will also be able to see a VAT summary, past VAT amounts and a detailed breakdown of this VAT amount.
