When shopping online, we may ask you to approve or decline the transaction you are making via your Countingup app.
This adds an extra level of security when you shop online by stopping fraudsters from using your card details to make unauthorised purchases.
If you are prompted to approve or decline a payment online via your Countingup app then:
- If the app is open: select the payment notification on the ‘Balance’ tab
- Select 'Confirm'
- Enter your login code/confirm biometric identification Or
1. If the app is closed, you will receive a notification to your mobile phone asking you to approve/ decline the transaction
2. Tap on the notification
3. Select 'Confirm'
4. Enter your login code/confirm biometric identification
If you don’t recognise the transaction, you should decline it and freeze your card.
