You can access your account from a different device, such as a tablet or a second smartphone, at any time. To keep your money safe, we use a secure verification process to confirm it's really you. 🛡️ Most users can complete this setup in just a few minutes.
Before you begin
If you still have your original device 📱 logged into the app, please have it ready. You’ll need it to approve the login request.
⚠️ We will NEVER call you and ask you to approve a new device or accept any attempt to access your account. If you're on the phone to someone claiming to be from Countingup, hang up immediately and message us in app.
Steps to log in on a new device
Download the app: Install the app from the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android) on your new device.
Enter your details: Open the app, tap Login, and enter your registered email address.
Check your email: You’ll receive an email titled "Please verify your device". Open this on the device you are trying to set up.
Verify the link: Tap the button in the email to be redirected back to the app.
Approving the request
To finish the setup, you’ll need to confirm the link on your existing device or using your card:
Using your existing device: Tap the notification banner that appears on your old device to approve the new login.
Using your card: If prompted, enter the last four digits of your physical card 💳 to verify the request.
Once confirmed, you can log in as normal using your biometric data or passcode ✅
Note: If you no longer have access to your original device and cannot verify the login, please contact our support team. We'll help you securely recover access to your account.
