How to send the invitation
Ready to get linked up? Just follow these simple steps from your web portal:
Sign in to your accountant portal.
Click Invite client.
Fill in your client's personal and business details. Make sure you use the exact email address they used to sign up for their business account.
Click Invite client again to send the request.
Tip: Your client can easily double-check their registered email address by opening their app, tapping More, and looking under Your personal details.
Helping your client approve access 📱
Your request will wait as pending until your client gives you the green light. We highly recommend letting them know it's on the way so they can approve it quickly.
You can copy and paste these quick steps to show them exactly what to do:
Log in to the app on your phone.
Tap the home icon 🏠 in the menu bar to make sure you're on the main screen.
Tap the person icon in the top left corner of the screen.
Tap Your accountant.
Tap Allow access.
Once they've done that, you're completely connected! You can track all your outstanding requests anytime in your portal by clicking Client invitations sent.
