You can easily adjust the payment due date on any draft or new invoice to suit your business needs. While the default setting is 14 days, you can choose a shorter window, a longer period, or even a specific custom date. Once you have updated these terms, the new due date will be clearly displayed on the invoice for your customer to see. 📆
Steps to update payment terms
You can change the due date while you are creating or editing an invoice by following these steps:
Open the app: Tap the Get paid tab along the bottom navigation bar.
Select your invoice: Open the New invoice you are currently working on or select a Draft invoice from your list. 📄
Navigate to details: If you are happy with the items you've added, tap Next. ✨
Change the terms: In the Invoice details screen, tap Payment terms.
Choose a date: Select one of the pre-set options, such as Immediate, 7 days, or 28 days. If you need a specific date, you can select Custom due date instead.
Continue: Tap Next to finish your invoice as normal.
Once you have set the new date, it will be saved to that specific draft. If you need to change it again before sending, simply repeat these steps before you tap Approve.
