You should also freeze your debit card in the app right now if you notice unrecognised card payments. We'll never ask for your passcodes, passwords, or card details over text, email, or phone. If anyone asks for these, stop and contact us directly.
What to do if you've been targeted 🛠️
Taking action quickly helps us protect your money. Here's what you need to do depending on what happened:
If you see unrecognised card payments, go to your card settings and select Freeze card. Then contact us straight away.
If you transferred money to a scammer, get in touch straight away so we can try to recover your funds.
If your phone or card is lost or stolen, let us know immediately so we can secure your account.
You should also report all fraudulent activity to the Police via the new national reporting service. You can raise a report either,
- Online: Visit the official Report Fraud Hub anytime.
- Phone: Call 0300 123 2040 (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM).
- Emergencies: Call 999 if a crime is happening right now or someone is in immediate danger.
