Steps to send a payment
To pay a person or a business, follow these steps:
Go to the Pay tab: Open the app and tap the Pay icon ⬆️ at the bottom of the screen.
Start the process: Tap Make a payment 💸.
Choose a recipient: Select an existing payee 👤 from your list, or tap to add a new one by entering their account details.
Enter details: Input the amount you wish to send and a reference for the recipient.
Categorise: Select a category for the payment to keep your bookkeeping organised.
Review and send: Tap Next to double-check the amount and details. Once you're happy, tap Send payment. ✅
Note: Always double-check the recipient's sort code and account number before confirming. For security reasons, payments made to a new payee may sometimes require a quick additional verification step in the app.
