Keeping your payee information up-to-date is essential for making payments smoothly. Whether a regular supplier has changed offices or updated their email address, you can update most of your payees' personal and business details for your existing contacts directly from your app 📱.
⚠️ Important: For security reasons, you cannot update a contact's account number or sort code. If their banking details have changed, you will need to delete the old contact and set them up as a new payee.
Changing details of a payee
Ready to make a change? Just follow these quick steps:
Open the app, head to the Accounting tab and tap Contacts 👤
Locate the payee and tap on the person or business for whom you need to update details
Edit the details you need to change. You can directly tap the specific details that you want to update or input.
Save and verify; tap Save. ✅
