To update your residential address, you will need to provide us with a valid proof of address document. This ensures that your personal records are accurate and helps us maintain the security of your business account. You can submit your document easily by sending a clear photo or PDF to our support team through the app. Once reviewed, we will update your records and confirm the change.
How to submit your change of address
To update your details, please send a message through the Help section in the app. You must attach an original photo or PDF of a document that shows your name and your new residential address.
Accepted proof of address
We can accept any of the following documents as long as they are in English:
Financial Statements: Bank, building society, or credit card statements.
Utility Bills: Gas, electricity, or water bills.
Government Correspondence: Council tax bills from the current year, or letters from HMRC, DWP, or the NHS.
Insurance & Vehicle Docs: Home or contents insurance documents, or a V5 vehicle registration (all pages).
Driving Licence: A valid UK driving licence, provided you did not use it to verify your identity when you first opened your account.
Document requirements
To ensure your document is accepted the first time, please make sure it meets these criteria:
Recent: It must have been issued within the last three months (excluding the current year's council tax bill).
Personal: It must be addressed to you personally, not to your business or "The Occupier."
Original: We require a clear photo of the physical document or the original PDF. For security reasons, we cannot accept screenshots or scanned copies.
