If you enter your PIN incorrectly three times, your card is automatically blocked as a security measure to prevent unauthorised access. While you can view your correct PIN within the app to remind yourself of the digits, you must visit a physical ATM to remove the block. This process ensures the card is physically in your possession before the security restriction is lifted and your card is ready for use again.
Before you head to the ATM
Before you attempt to unlock your card, it is a good idea to double-check that you have the right numbers in mind. You can do this securely within the app:
Open the app and go to the Home tab.
Tap the Card icon in the top banner.
Select View PIN and enter your CVV to see your code.
How to unlock your PIN at a cash machine
Once you are at an ATM that offers PIN services, follow these steps to get back up and running:
Insert your business card into the machine.
Enter your correct PIN (the one you just verified in the app).
Look for an option on the screen labelled PIN Services.
Select PIN Unlock and follow any further on-screen instructions.
Once the machine confirms the unlock is successful, the block is removed immediately. You can then continue to use your card for Chip and PIN or contactless payments as normal. 🏧
