Once your switch is complete, your sort code will be 04-36-15, and you will be issued a new 8-digit account number.
What updates automatically
Invoices generated directly within the Countingup app will automatically display your new sort code and account number from your switch date onwards.
Inbound Faster Payments sent to your old account details (with sort code 23-69-72) will automatically forward into your new account for 3 years, but we do recommend getting your clients to update any saved payment information they hold for you as soon as possible.
What you need to update manually
Invoices generated outside of Countingup (e.g., manual PDFs or third-party platforms).
Bank transfer instructions displayed on your website, email signatures, or client contracts.
Payment details registered on client supplier portals or e-commerce merchant accounts.
