Ready to make it official? To register your new limited company through the Countingup app, you’ll just need to have a few details to hand.
1. A unique company name
First things first, you’ll need a name that isn’t already in use. Use our free search tool in the app to check if your chosen name is available. 🔍
2. Your personal details
We’ll need a few bits of information about you as the company director:
Full name
Home address
Date of birth
Nationality
3. Business details
You’ll also need to provide:
Registered office address: This is your company's official address where government mail is sent. You can use your home address for this if you like.
Business activity: A brief description of what your business actually does (for example, "Graphic Design" or "Plumbing").
Company email: An email address that will be linked to your new company.
4. Identification
As part of the setup, we'll ask you to securely upload a photo of your ID (like a passport or UK driving licence) to verify who you are.
