What you'll need to apply
Before you start, please have these items ready to help make your application a breeze:
A compatible smartphone: You’ll need a device running iOS 15.1 (or later) or Android 7 (or later) with the app installed.
A UK mobile number: You'll need this to receive secure codes that help to keep your account safe.
A valid email address: We'll use this to send you important updates about your account.
A valid photo ID: You can use your UK driving licence, passport, or European ID card.
Business details: If you're a limited company, have your registered name or company number ready. If you're a sole trader, you can simply select that option in the app.
Note: We don't currently accept UK Biometric Residence Permits (BRP) or UK issued Travel Documents as a form of identification for new applications.

Open the app and follow the on-screen prompts to enter your details.
When prompted, take a clear photo of your ID and a quick selfie to help us keep your account secure.
