If your business structure changes—for example, you move from being a sole trader to a limited company—you’ll need to apply for a new account. Because an account must legally match how a business is registered with HMRC or Companies House, we can’t simply rename your existing one.

How to move to a new account
If you're ready to change your business type, please follow these steps:
Contact us: Send a message to our support team through the app to check your eligibility for a new account.
Close your existing account: If you're eligible, you’ll need to close your current sole trader account first.
Start a new application: You can then begin a fresh application in the name of your new limited company.
Why a new account is necessary
The features and tax tools in the app are specifically tailored to your business type. Starting a new application ensures you have the correct compliance features and reporting tools for a limited company. 🛠️
Note: We don’t currently support multiple sole trader accounts, or the creation of a second account if you're changing from a limited company back to a sole trader.
