To make opening a second account as easy as possible, we’ll reuse most of the information from your first application. This means you won’t need to re-enter your name, date of birth, or contact details. 🔁 Most second account applications are processed within the same business day, provided your details are up to date.
Personal details
We'll automatically carry over your personal profile, but there are a few things to keep in mind:
Changes to your details: If your name or residential address has changed since you opened your first account, please send us a secure message in the app before you start your new application.
Security updates: If your first account was opened more than 12 months ago, we'll ask you to provide a fresh photo of your ID and a new selfie to keep your account secure. 🔒
Business details
Because your second account must be for a different venture, you'll need to provide specific information for the new entity:
Company name: The full name of your limited company exactly as it appears on Companies House.
Business description: A clear, simple summary of your new company’s day-to-day activities.
VAT status: Whether or not the new business is registered for VAT.
